Member Highlight: Jerry Misner Jr.

Jerry Misner Jr. has volunteered with HAVFR for more than 25 years! He's currently the president of HAVFR's Firemen's Relief Association.

Jerry has lived in Hanover for 41 years and started his volunteership with legacy companies at Grangeville and Parkville.

Jerry has two children, 15-year-old Peyton and 14-year-old Paige. Peyton recently started volunteering with HAVFR as well! He will be featured in November's Member Highlight. They have two dogs Shelby and Sara. Jerry is also a full-time firefighter and paramedic.

When he's not fighting fires, Jerry likes to spend his time outdoors and being part of his men's ministry.

Jerry says having the ability to help others in their time of need is his favorite part about volunteering. He said, "There is empowerment and a sense of pride knowing you have helped someone through [one] of the hardest times in their lives."

Thank you for your commitment to the Hanover community, Jerry!
